The Gold Coast SUNS are pleased to announce this afternoon’s QClash against the Brisbane Lions at People First Stadium is officially sold out.
With incredible demand once again from the Gold Coast community, all reserved seat and premium hospitality tickets have been sold with limited standing general admission tickets still available.
It is the second consecutive season in which the QClash at People First Stadium has sold out. Today’s match also marks the SUNS’ second consecutive sell out at People First Stadium alongside the Round 18 fixture against Collingwood.
Gold Coast SUNS CEO Mark Evans once again praised the support of the Gold Coast community ahead of the 29th meeting between the two Queensland rivals.
“The support we have received from our community, and the demand we have seen ahead of today’s QClash has been remarkable,” Evans said.
“Not only are people are wanting to join the journey and be part of what we’re building on the Gold Coast, but the excitement around our game in Queensland is at fever pitch, as evidenced by venue records set for the QClash at both People First Stadium and the Gabba in the last 12 months.
“We know how important the electric atmosphere at People First Stadium is for our players so we’re looking forward to seeing plenty of red and gold in the stands today.”
Today’s match follows the Round 8 clash between the two sides which was attended by a record-breaking crowd of 33,612 - the biggest attendance in QClash history.
Last year’s meeting at People First Stadium also set a new record for the biggest attendance for a QClash at the venue with a crowd of 21,043.
All attendees must hold a valid match day ticket or membership. Standing general admission tickets will be available at the ticket office at People First Stadium.
Fans are encouraged to arrive at the venue to early to ensure smooth entry. Gate 3 is open from 9:15am with all remaining gates open from 11:30am.
