Several SUNS are in contention to return to action this Friday against the Melbourne Demons.
Charlotte Wilson has recovered from a fractured fibula which sidelined her early in Round 3 against Port Adelaide (Yartapuulti) and is expected to be fit and firing.
Katie Lynch is also expected to be available for selection, having overcome several setbacks across the preseason and in-season scrimmage competition.
“Charlotte and Katie will aim to put their hands up for selection, provided they get through training this week,” Gold Coast SUNS AFLW Physiotherapist Jasmine Herlihy shared.
After missing Round 6 against the Crows due to a minor knee concern, Darcie Davies is hopeful to return to Shaw’s side.
"Darcie was a late exclusion after experiencing a minor knee concern, however, she has shown improvement since and will also push for a spot in Shaw’s team” added Herlihy.
In more positive news, Sienna McMullen is on track to compete in scrimmage over the coming weeks, while Nyalli Milne continues to progress in rehabilitation.
