The Gold Coast SUN's defence will be bolstered by the return of key defender Charlotte Wilson when the SUNS take on the Melbourne Demons this Friday.

Wilson was sidelined early in Round 3 after suffering a lower leg injury and will run out alongside counterpart Meara Girvan who has been named for her 25th AFLW & SUNS game.

Speedy SUN Taya Oliver will also feature in Rhyce Shaw’s lineup for the first time since Round 1 in Perth.

The pair step into place of Tayla Gregory and Mia Salisbury (both omitted), who remain among the emergencies alongside Wallis Randell.

Inaugural SUN Jamie Stanton will lace up her game-day boots for the 75th time in her AFLW career, she is the first to reach this milestone as a SUN.

SUNS fans in attendance to Casey Fields will have the chance to score a double pass to the 2025 Toyota AFL Grand Final between Geelong and the Brisbane Lions on Saturday 27 September. Simply scan your AFLW ticket upon entry and go in the draw.
