Ben King has reigned as the SUNS SIXT Leading Goal Kicker for the third consecutive year following a record-breaking season in Gold Coast’s forward line.
King claimed the crown with a total of 71 goals in 2025, comfortably surpassing his own previous season best of 55 goals (2024).
In Round 24 against Essendon, the 202cm forward cemented himself as the King of the Coast, kicking a career-high seven goals which saw him ultimately break the previous club record (66) set by Tom Lynch in 2016, as well as consolidate his position as the runner-up for the 2025 AFL Coleman Medal.
King has now kicked 40 or more goals in four of his five completed seasons
The 25-year-old also set a new benchmark as Gold Coast’s all-time leading goalkicker, once again surpassing Lynch in the Semi-Final to finish his fifth campaign with 255 goals to his name.
