150 games
Vice Captain Sam Collins (149) is set to kick off the 2026 campaign with a bang, on track to play his 150th AFL game in Opening Round. Nick Holman (147), John Noble (137) and Ben Long (135) will also shift their eyes to the prize.
While Gold Coast skipper Noah Anderson (129) alongside defence duo Will Powell (130) and Charlie Ballard (134) are on target to hit 150 AFL games in SUNS colours and qualify to receive SUNS Life Membership.
50 games
Several players including seven StreetSmarts SUNS Academy graduates are in contention to hit the big five-o, having played every game for their home club. An Opening Round selection will see Bodhi Uwland (49) make his mark not long before breakout forward Jy Farrar (42) and local talents Alex Davies (40), Caleb Graham (37), Sam Clohesy (34) and Jed Walter (30).
In Round 1, Senior Coach Damien Hardwick will lead out his 50th game at the Gold Coast SUNS. The three-time premiership coach joined the SUNS in 2024 with more than 300 games of coaching experience under his belt and has since guided Gold Coast to new feats including the club’s first finals berth.
300 AFL Goals
After booting a career-best 71-goals last season and surpassing Tom Lynch as the Gold Coast’s all-time leading goalkicker, Ben King (255) is set to become the first SUN to score 300 goals in the red, gold and blue.
10 Straight Wins in the Top End
The Gold Coast have recorded the last eight wins at their home-away-from-home and will be gunning for its fifth straight set in the Darwin fortress. Witness the SUNS take their tally to 10-2 at TIO Stadium this May with tickets to Rounds 9 and 10.
Brownlow Votes Record
After securing his maiden Brownlow Medal in 2025 with a staggering 39 votes, Matt Rowell’s career vote tally (89) has edged closer to former club record-holder Gary Ablett Jnr (122). A remarkable season from the SUNS skipper could also see Anderson (83) surpass the inaugural captain. Additionally, a second crowning would not only see Rowell on par with Ablett’s two medals but also become the first SUN to claim two in SUNS colours.
