Damien Hardwick has made four changes to his team to take on Essendon on Saturday, for what will be the Gold Coast SUNS’ first home game since Round 1.

Christian Petracca and Bailey Humphrey will run out on Saturday afternoon against the Bombers for their returns from injury and suspension respectively.

Also making their returns to the team this week are defender Oscar Adams and StreetSmarts SUNS Academy product Jake Rogers, who missed last week’s Gather Round match against Sydney due to concussion protocols.

The four players step into the team in place of captain Noah Anderson (illness), Lachie Gulbin, Alex Davies and Sam Clohesy (all omitted).

Fans will see the SUNS sporting blue socks this weekend in support of RizeUp Australia, the club’s major charity partner, which provides safe housing and practical support to families escaping domestic violence.

$1 will will be donated for every fan in attendance with the SUNS playing group having also donated $5,000 earlier this week.
