Anthony Miles (MID): $425,000

Anthony Miles shapes as one of the most intriguing picks of the 2019 AFL Fantasy season.

Miles is a proven ball-winner, but has been starved of opportunities at his two former clubs Richmond and GWS.

The 26-year-old played just a single AFL game last year for 78 points, but has averaged close to 90 in his three years at the Tigers.

His dominant VFL form shows he still has what it takes at AFL level, and due to only playing one game Miles receives a substantial discount which has him priced at an average of 58.5.

It’s expected Miles will get significant opportunities in the midfield for the SUNS which should see him improve his average to close to 90 again.

He’ll be a leader in the relatively young SUNS midfield and will give the likes of Will Brodie, Ben Ainsworth and Jack Bowes time to develop.

If this is the case, Miles is a cash cow with plenty to gain, making him a perfect mid-priced option who is undervalued and can score big.

Keep an eye on his JLT Community Series performances, but if Miles gets enough midfield minutes he could become a lock in most people’s Fantasy teams to start the year.
