A suite of StreetSmarts SUNS Academy graduates have been included for Saturday’s QClash at People First Stadium.
As confirmed on Thursday morning, Burleigh Bombers junior Jai Murray will make his AFL debut against the Lions, becoming SUN #159 and the 26th Academy product to represent the club at AFL level.
Murray becomes the club’s second AFL debutant of the season.
Lachie Weller and Will Graham also both return to the lineup after missing the Round 11 clash against North Melbourne with a hamstring injury and concussion respectively.
The trio come into the side in place of Nick Holman, Zeke Uwland and Sam Clohesy (all omitted). Uwland remains on the emergency list alongside Charlie Ballard and Beau Addinsall.
Saturday’s QClash is sold out at People First Stadium with tickets still able to be secured by purchasing a SUNS membership. Gate 3 is open at 1:15pm ahead of the VFL curtain raiser with all gates open from 3:15pm.
