Anticipation on the Gold Coast is reaching fever pitch with all general public tickets exhausted for the Round 18 clash against Collingwood on Saturday, July 5.
The only way to secure tickets for the match is with a SUNS Blockbuster Membership, which
Gold Coast SUNS Chief Executive Mark Evans says there is tremendous demand for what have become the hottest tickets in town.
“We are seeing incredible demand from the Gold Coast community with tickets for our home matches at People First Stadium now at a premium,” Evans said.
“Last year’s clash against Collingwood was one of the games of the season and we are looking forward to painting the town red again as we welcome the Pies to our home.
“This is the third time this season tickets have exhausted for a match at People First Stadium. There are also only limited tickets for this Friday’s primetime match against Hawthorn, and we encourage those wanting to attend to secure their tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
“The best way to do that is by becoming a SUNS member.”
The clash will mark the fourth consecutive season in which ticketing allocations have been exhausted for the SUNS versus Collingwood match-up.
Last year’s meeting, highlighted by a thrilling six-point SUNS win and Goal of the Year from Noah Anderson, was attended by 22,831 people - the fourth-highest crowd for an AFL match at the venue.
The highest attendance for a GC SUNS match at People First Stadium is 24,032, also set against Collingwood in 2013.
All attendees must hold a valid match day ticket or membership.
