The Gold Coast SUNS hit the track for an intra club match on Friday morning ahead of the upcoming pre-season hit-outs. 

SUNS star Charlie Rowbottom (one goal) was at her best, dominating through the center and charging the pill forward. 

Midfield counter parts Niamh McLaughlin, Maddy Brancatisano and Anne Hatchard were also in fine form while further down the field Daisy D’Arcy was exciting in her return to action.

Several StreetSmarts SUNS Academy graduates showcased their talents including runner-up Club Champion Havana Harris (two goals) who was strong in the air and on the ground. While 2025 draftees Ava Usher (two), Sunny Lappin (one), Alannah Welsh (one) and Dekota Baron (one) put their best foot forward and didn’t look out of place. 

The SUNS take on the Sydney Swans in the first match simulation of the season next Friday, 10 July at the SCG.
