Think John Noble has been a good pick-up for the Gold Coast SUNS? Absolutely he has.
Tonight, when the SUNS close out the 2026 AFL season against St Kilda at Marvel Stadium, Noble will complete his second season with the club without missing a game.
He'll finish with a 'live' 55-game streak, having played 23 games this year after 25 games (including two finals) last year, and the last seven games of the 2024 season with Collingwood.
Likely to be among the contenders for the SUNS Club Champion, Noble will be one of six SUNS not to have missed a game this year.
Heading the others will be Touk Miller, who will become the SUNS' No.1 iron man overall.
It will be the fifth time in his 12-year career the former skipper has enjoyed an unblemished season, having also done so in 2015-18-20-22.
This will put Miller one unblemished season ahead of six players who have enjoyed four unblemished seasons: Noah Anderson (2020, 2023-2025), Sam Collins (2020, 2022-2024), Matt Rowell (2022-2025), Ben King (2020, 2021, 2025, 2026), Jarrod Witts (2018-2020, 2022) and David Swallow (2014, 2019, 2022, 2023).
King and Bodhi Uwland will join Noble in completing two full seasons in a row, while Mac Andrew and Leo Lombard will log their first full campaign.
In one of the highlights of the season for the club, Lombard has played every game in 2026 after just four games in his 2025 debut season, and not more than two games in a row. He played Rounds 12-13 and Rounds 19-20 last year.
Uwland will close out the season with a 63-game 'live' streak of consecutive games, ahead of King (57), Noble (55), Andrew (47), Miller (30) and Lombard (23).
Rowell holds the club record for most consecutive games at 104, having seen that run end when he missed the start of the 2026 season after a broken finger in the State of Origin game.
The second-longest SUNS streak is Anderson's 90, which ended when he missed Round 6 this year through illness.
