The Gold Coast SUNS have no fresh injury concerns to report following a heated contest against Geelong on Sunday.
SUNS senior duo Lily Mithen and Meara Girvan will be another test for this Saturday’s clash against Yartapuulti in Adelaide.
Mithen was ruled out of Round 3 with a calf injury while Girvan has missed the previous two matches with a hamstring injury.
“Lily and Meara will both need to get through training this week before a definite decision can be made on their availability,” Gold Coast SUNS AFLW Physiotherapist Angela Flack said.
After three surgeries and almost 700 days on the sidelines recovering from an ACL injury, Elise Barwick will be available for selection.
The versatile small forward successfully competed in her first scrimmage match last Saturday and will be eyeing an opportunity to make her long awaited return to Rhyce Shaw’s side.
