Archie Hill has claimed StreetSmarts Male Academy Player of the Year at the 2026 Gold Coast SUNS Club Champion.

Hill has impressed throughout his draft year in several competitions, most notably playing all six matches of the Academy’s Talent League before also featuring in the Allies’ four matches at the 2026 Marsh AFL National Championships.

The 18-year-old versatile half-back has also juggled commitments as a member of the National Academy in 2026 to go with six VFL matches for the SUNS, including a sparkling 26-disposal display on debut in June.

He has also been invited to October’s AFL State Combine.

Hill is a Broadbeach Cats junior who has been a member of the StreetSmarts SUNS Academy since he was 12 years old.

Previous male winners of the award include Koby Coulson (2025) Leo Lombard (2024), Jed Walter (2023) and Bodhi Uwland (2021).
