Defender Bodhi Uwland has been named the recipient of the 2026 Jarrod Harbrow Community Award, recognising his commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
The award, which is named in honour of SUNS legend and four-time award recipient Jarrod Harbrow, is presented to an individual or group who have made outstanding contributions to the Gold Coast Community.
In 2026, Uwland has consistently demonstrated a genuine commitment to community engagement, most notably through visits to Radio Lollipop at the Gold Coast University Hospital where he has demonstrated exceptional and sustained commitment to supporting children and their families during difficult times.
In addition to regular visits to GCUH, the 23-year-old has helped raise awareness for the program through social media support as well as coordinating the donation of sporting equipment.
Now in his sixth season on the SUNS list, Uwland has also this season provided leadership and guidance to members of the club’s first-to-fourth-years cohort, actively driving community engagement.
