As the delicate snow fell from high above Main Street at Warner Bros. Movie World, faces young and old lit up with wholesome Christmas joy.

Thursday night marked the seventh consecutive White Christmas Charity Event, which the Gold Coast SUNS are proud to partner with the Gold Coast Community Fund and Movie World to help bring to life.

The White Christmas Charity Event is a chance for Gold Coasters in need to enjoy a night of festive celebrations. This year approximately 4,000 people were able to start their holiday season with a magical night complete with a giant Christmas tree adorned with fairy lights, jovial dancing elves and the chance to meet their favourite SUNS player.

The entire SUNS playing list were on hand to help spread the cheer, from signing mini footballs to giving high-fives and eagerly jumping on the Movie World rides.

“We all love coming here every year and it’s great just to see the smiles on little kids faces,” Touk Miller told SUNS TV.

“There are a fair few people who are really joyful, families and kids that are a bit less fortunate then we are.

“We’re here to help them put a smile of their face and really enjoy the night, and hopefully spend a really happy Christmas with their family.”

The night concluded with an enchanted Christmas parade through the park, an all-singing, all-dancing affair that captivated the young, and the young at heart.
