Ablett returns to Geelong
He’s arguably the best player in the Premiership and over the past three seasons Gary Ablett has delighted Gold Coast SUNS fans, mesmerised opposition players and seemingly achieved the impossible with exciting regularity.
If season one was impressive, Ablett once again stepped up to the challenge in 2012, finishing the season averaging a staggering 34 possessions, six clearances, five tackles per game, he also managed to land 26 goals.
Tomorrow night, the two time Premiership winner, five times All Australian ,two times Best and Fairest winner at Geelong and winner of the Gold Coast SUNS Club Champion award in 2011 and 2012 returns to Geelong for the first time as an opposition player.
He’ll also become the first Gold Coast SUNS player to play 50 Premiership matches for the Club.
In preparation for what promises to be a thrilling encounter, we thought we would pull together a highlights reel including some of Gary’s most magic moments in a GCSUNS Guernsey.
