Last night the Gold Coast SUNS players attended many of the Junior clubs on the Gold Coast to encourage the next generation of young participants to continue on with Club football.
Many of the young boys and girls attending these Gala Nights tonight, have participated in the Auskick program for Term 1 and have been invited down at the end of this program, as guests of their local club to participate in tonight’s Gala Night event.
The Gold Coast SUNS players were on hand to give them some encouragement and tips on playing AFL, whilst signing autographs and have photographs with the young players who look up to them.
Gold Coast SUNS Community Programs Manager said “This is a wonderful opportunity for our young players to support and encourage the next generation of young AFL players out in the Community”.
