It was the goal that sent AFL fans into a frenzy around the country.

Collingwood supporters cried tears of joy, there were barks of delight from Bulldogs fans and there was no doubting the roar could be heard at the Lions as Karmichael Hunt kicked this goal after the final siren to give the Gold Coast SUNS a memorable two point win over the Richmond Tigers, their first of the 2012 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

It was the moment Karmichael had dreamt of since playing backyard footy as a kid, and now you can own Karmichael Hunt's signed, worn match boots!

Karmichael has signed both his match used pair of white Nike Tiempo IV5 boots which are beautifully presented in a Perspex box and beautifully finished with match images and a plaque denoting the game details.

The funds raised from this auction lot will assist in the funding of the 'No Boundaries’ partnership program in the Northern Peninsula Area (NPA).

The Gold Coast SUNS in conjunction with AFL Cape York, NPA College and NPARC are proud to have launched the ‘No Boundaries’ partnership program NPA, aimed at those located in the remote communities of the NPA.

The program encourages students towards positive aspirations after school, whether that is through further study, work or an apprenticeship / traineeship.

The program has seen current players such as Indigenous Ambassadors Jarrod Harbrow, Liam Patrick along with Harley Bennell, Zac Smith and Alik Magin, travel to the NPA to work closely with local advocacy groups in the five communities of the Northern Peninsula Area.

As part of the program, the club welcomes and hosts the NPA ‘legends’ from the NPA region. This group of up to 8 or 10 high school students that travel to and experience a week on the Gold Coast gain many new experiences, including seeing the team train live and watching the team run out against an AFL team – this year Carlton in the final Gold Coast SUNS home game for the season on August 25.
