We were made aware of an incident involving a small group of our players on holiday in Thailand.

As per club policy, the players notified the club of the incident immediately.

The players will return from their holiday over the weekend, where the club will meet with them to determine all the facts. Once we are in possession of all of the facts we will be in a position to decide on the appropriate course of action. It is important in situations like this that the club follows due process and doesn’t pre-judge the matter.

As the club has demonstrated over the last three years, the Gold Coast SUNS have extremely high expectations when it comes to player behaviour.

We are not in a position to make any further comment until we have discussed the matter with the players involved.
