Voting is now open for the Austworld Player of the Round after the drawn Round 11 match against Essendon.

It was a collective effort by the SUNS at Metricon Stadium but there were a number of individual standout performances.

Lachie Weller found plenty of the ball with 18 disposals, three tackles and two goals in the midfield.

In defence, Charlie Ballard was rock-solid with a game-high seven intercept marks and 10 disposals.

Co-captain Jarrod Witts was immense in the ruck and had several one percenter efforts for the team.

Jack Bowes was pure class coming out of defence and used the ball well with 87% efficiency from his 16 disposals. 

Key forward Sam Day had a standout match, kicking two goals and having four score involvements.

Brandon Ellis was also prominent on the wing with 18 disposals and five marks.

Flashy forward Izak Rankine almost got the SUNS over the line and had a big impact in the second half, finishing with 14 disposals and a goal.
