Young gun Connor Budarick will miss the remaining two games of the 2020 season after injuring his collarbone in the QClash on Wednesday night.

Budarick went in hard to a contest with Brisbane’s Lincoln McCarthy but SUNS Head Physiotherapist Lindsay Bull told the Qscan Injury Update the first-year defender wouldn’t require a long stint on the sidelines.

“Connor suffered a fracture to his clavicle, or collarbone, in the game in the third quarter after a bump,” Bull said.

“He’ll be in a sling for a couple of weeks and we’ll go from there.

“He’ll be able to resume his full off-season and pre-season program and we don’t anticipate any long-term damage there for Connor.”

In good news, Jarrod Harbrow will be available for selection again after being managed with a shoulder injury.

“Harbs has joined in full training, did some contact work yesterday and will do some more on the weekend before being available for selection,” Bull said.
