Tuesday of trade week is traditionally a quiet day, and this year is no different.

While GC SUNS coach, Guy McKenna flew back to the Gold Coast following the Monday meeting with all clubs, General Manager Football Operation, Marcus Ashcroft remained in Melbourne along with Manger - List Strategy Scott Clayton and Recruiting Manager Dom Ambrogio.

The battle for youngster Jaeger O’Meara is still on, with a number of clubs believed to be keen in acquiring the services of the 17-year-old.

Ashcroft told goldcoastfc.com.au that the club had identified what the SUNS believe his is worth.
“We met last night to determine what we think Jaeger is worth and what we might be able to offer, so we will just have to wait and see what transpires over the next couple of days,” Ashcroft said.

The mini draft deadline closes at 5pm on Thursday.

Discussions between the 18 AFL clubs will continue over the coming days.
