Evans is a former Australian Under 19 cricketer who played at first-class level with Victoria and the Melbourne Renegades in the BBL before joining the SUNS late in 2024 as a Category B Rookie. The promising talent showed a marked improvement in his second season, driving him closer to contention of an AFL debut this year.
