Will Brodie started to find some consistency with his football in 2019, playing eight matches. The 189cm inside midfielder averaged 22 disposals, four marks and six tackles per game at senior level after starting the year in the NEAFL. However. a hamstring injury sustained against Carlton in Round 18 saw him miss the remainder of the season. With the arrival of fellow inside midfielders Hugh Greenwood and Matt Rowell in the off-season, Brodie will once again face stiff competition for a place in the midfield but will be working to make a spot in the best 22 his own.
