The Gold Coast SUNS have made four changes to its team to take on Fremantle on Friday afternoon for Gather Round in Adelaide.

After making his return in the VFL against Sandringham last week, Brandon Ellis has been named for his first AFL match of the season since overcoming a calf injury.

He’s been joined amongst the inclusions by Sean Lemmens who also comes in for his first AFL match of the year after two VFL games.

Fresh off a two-goal and seven-mark game against Sandringham, Mabior Chol has been recalled to the senior side to add firepower to the forward line as well as relief ruck duties.

Brayden Fiorini also returns to the AFL team for the first time since Round 2.

Captain Jarrod Witts will miss a second game with soreness, meaning last week’s debutant Ned Moyle will once again get the start as first ruck.

Coming out of the side are Levi Casboult (managed), Joel Jeffrey (omitted), Hewago Oea (omitted), Elijah Hollands (omitted) and last week’s substitute Alex Sexton.

Sexton, Jeffrey and Hollands join Charlie Constable as the emergencies with one of those four to be named as the substitute one hour prior to first bounce.

The SUNS will make history on Friday afternoon, playing for premiership points for the very first time at Adelaide’s Norwood Oval.

First bounce is at 5:10pm AEST, with the match to be broadcast live on Fox Footy, 7mate (check your local guide) and Kayo.
