Twenty-one AFL-listed players will be striving to keep the GC SUNS planted at the summit of the VFL ladder when they meet the Northern Bullants on Sunday afternoon at Preston City Oval.
The SUNS enter Round 13 fresh off its second bye of the season with a 9-1 record and have named a strong side to face the 19thplaced Bullants.
As confirmed earlier this week, Connor Budarick makes his return to action for the first time since suffering an ACL injury midway through the 2022 AFL season.
Mabior Chol, Brodie McLaughlin, Alex Sexton and Sam Day combined for 11 goals a fortnight ago with all four again named to face the Bullants.
The two sides have met just the once previously way back in Round 1 last season. Chris Burgess, who currently sits fourth in the league goalkicking ranks and has been named at half-forward, kicked three that afternoon as the SUNS ran out 55-point winners.
