The Gold Coast SUNS have signalled their intent to select forwards Jamarra Ugle-Hagan and Elliott Himmelberg in next month’s Telstra AFL Draft after the pair were delisted today.

Ugle-Hagan played three senior matches in his first season in SUNS colours in 2026. Himmelberg previously played 50 AFL matches for Adelaide, but is yet to feature at senior level for the SUNS after battling several serious injury setbacks.

Midfielder Ben Jepson will also remain in the red, gold and blue in 2027 after signing a one-year contract extension. The 25-year-old has played six matches for the SUNS since joining as a supplemental selection period (SSP) selection ahead of the 2025 season.

Gold Coast currently holds selections 8, 81, 85 and 103 in the 2026 Telstra AFL Draft to be held on Thursday, November 19 and Friday, November 20.
