With Wil Powell a certain out for this weekend’s game against Adelaide, the SUNS match committee will be pondering who to bring in to the team for Round 17.

After being a late withdrawal in Round 16, Peter Wright looms as a likely inclusion for the match.

The NEAFL also had a dominant win over Redland with a number of SUNS putting their hands up for a recall.

George Horlin-Smith could fill Powell’s role on the wing after having 28 disposals, five tackles and a goal in the win.

Another option on the wing could be Jordan Murdoch who has had two strong games since overcoming an ankle injury.

Corey Ellis responded to his AFL omission with 20 disposals and six marks, while Sean Lemmens returned from a long layoff with injury to post 21 disposals in limited game-time.

Mid-season draftee Mitch Riordan had 26 disposals and a goal in his second game for the club to be one of the best alongside Jacob Dawson and Michael Rischitelli who are regularly consistent.

Ruckman Tom Nicholls had 48 hitouts and six clearances in the win and could provide assistance to co-captain Jarrod Witts if required.
