Jamie Stanton’s career-best season in front of goal has earned her the SUNS 2023 Leading Goalkicker Award, presented by SIXT.
Stanton played every game of the season, kicking at least one goal in eight of 11 matches in 2023 and finishing equal-10th in the AFLW’s goalkicking stakes.
Her most impressive performance fittingly came in her 50th AFLW game in Round 2 in which she kicked six goals which stands as the second-most kicked by a single player in AFLW history.
Her tally of 16 goals is the highest recorded by a SUNS player in a single AFLW season.
