The Gold Coast SUNS could regain a key duo for the Round 5 clash against Collingwood at the Swinburne Centre.
The Gold Coast SUNS could regain a key duo for Friday afternoon’s clash against Collingwood at the Swinburne Centre.
After being unavailable for Round 4, Lucy Single is in contention for selection if she progresses through concussion protocols this week.
Maddy Brancatisano is also targeting a return to availability for the first time in 2024 after injuring her ankle in pre-season.
“Lucy is currently in concussion protocols. As she continues to progress through those protocols, we are hopeful she will be available for Friday’s game,” GC SUNS AFLW physiotherapist Jasmine Herlihy said.
“Maddy is progressing well through her rehabilitation. She will train fully this week and we expect her to be available for selection.”
The Gold Coast SUNS are determined to go forward in the wake of a difficult home loss last weekend against Geelong along with a difficult start to the 2024 season.
