The Gold Coast SUNS have been forced to make several changes to the squad set to take on the GWS Giants this Sunday.

Rhyce Shaw has named an extended 24-player squad for the match, which will be trimmed to a final 21 players on Friday evening.

Paige Price, Alannah Welsh,  Elise Barwick, Mia Salisbury, Sienna McMullen, Ellie Veerhuis and Katie Lynch make-up seven potential inclusions.

The group step into the mix for Daisy D’Arcy (concussion protocols), Dekota Baron (concussion protocols), Clara Fitzpatrick (foot) and Ava Usher (suspension).

The SUNS will be eyeing the opportunity to not only secure a win over the Giants but also a top four finish heading into the NAB AFLW Finals Series.

Cheer on the SUNS from 11:35am AEST across Fox Sports 503, Kayo and Binge, 7 and 7plus.
