Noah Anderson’s prolific ball-winning season continued, leading all comers with 36 disposals and six centre clearances ahead of vice-captain Touk Miller (30 touches, one goal), while fellow midfielder Matt Rowell laid a game-high 14 tackles to go with 24 disposals.

Ben Long led the way three majors, all coming in the first half, while Joel Jeffrey’s superb defensive display (27 disposals, nine marks, eight intercept possessions) was also capped with a goal in the last quarter.

Down back Sam Collins was impenetrable, recording nine intercept possessions – a game high – while Bodhi Uwland was similarly resolute inside defensive 50.
