The SUNS have made one change for Saturday’s trip to Geelong, welcoming young tall Ethan Read back into the side to face the Cats.
Read missed last week’s clash against the Dockers and returns this week in place of Ned Moyle (omitted).
Saturday’s trip to GMHBA Stadium is the SUNS’ first since 2021 with seven players – John Noble, Bodhi Uwland, Bailey Humphrey, Sam Clohesy, Mac Andrew, Jed Walter and Leo Lombard – all set to play at the venue first the time on Saturday.
Gold Coast has won the last two meetings between the sides, with last year’s meeting in Darwin seeing the SUNS record a record-breaking 64-point win.
Saturday’s match is live on 7mate in Queensland, as well as Kayo and Fox Footy nationwide from 4:15pm Saturday.
