An experienced side has been named to face Demons this Saturday on SUNS territory.
Nick Holman returns from the AFL side while StreetSmarts Academy prospects Cooper Collins, Koby Coulson, Beau Addinsall and Dylan Patterson are out with Allies duties at the 2025 Marsh AFL National Championships - Under 18 Boys.
Alex Sexton is also an out after being promoted into the AFL side while Caleb Lewis will miss the curtain raiser due to suspension.
The sides last met at Casey Fields in the SUNS’ nail-biting season opener, which went in favour of the Demons 13.10 (88) to 13.12 (90).
The Gold Coast will be seeking redemption against Casey, who are currently placed tenth on the Smithy’s VFL ladder.
SUNS fans can revel in back-to-back footy from 9.35 am. Entry for the match is via Gate 3 at People First Stadium from 9:30am. A valid ticket for the SUNS v Melbourne AFL match is required to enter the venue.
