Several SUNS are nearing a return to AFLW action as the 2025 season nears its halfway point.
After missing the Round 5 loss against Carlton, Jamie Stanton is pushing to be available for selection for Sunday’s home match against the Crows, while Charlotte Wilson (leg) and Katie Lynch (ankle) are also nearing returns.
Wilson has missed the last two matches while Lynch is yet to feature at AFLW level this season.
“Jamie will look to train fully this week, and we will make a decision on her availability closer to game day. We are hopeful that Charlotte and Katie will also be in contention for selection in either Round 6 or Round 7,” SUNS AFLW physiotherapist Jasmine Herlihy said.
In further positive news, Sienna McMullen is likely to return to the field through match scrimmage in the coming weeks as she continues her recovery from a foot injury.
