Jamarra Ugle-Hagan to don the Red, Gold and Blue in 2026.

Former No. 1 draft pick Jamarra Ugle-Hagan has joined the Gold Coast SUNS after a trade was completed with the Western Bulldogs.

The SUNS have secured the services of Ugle-Hagan for pick 74 in the 2025 Telstra AFL Draft.

Gold Coast SUNS General Manager Player List & Talent, Craig Cameron spoke about the role Ugle-Hagan could play as part of our football club.

“As a football club we have a commitment to make sure we explore all options in an effort to give our club the best opportunity for success,” Cameron said.

“We firmly believe that a fit and healthy Jamarra can help us as a football club. He is a player with high forward craft and IQ that can not only add, but compliment the exciting group of forwards we already have.”

The versatile key forward has kicked 103 goals across 67 matches since debuting in 2021,and was the Bulldogs leading goalkicker in 2024.

Ahead of the 2025 Telstra AFL Draft, the club will hold selections 7, 8, 15, 18, 29, 36, 37, 52, 92 and 110.

The Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period concludes Wednesday 15th October.
