The Gold Coast SUNS will be without Tayla Gregory for Saturday's season finale against Richmond.
The SUNS ruck was taken off the field during the second quarter against Collingwood on Sunday, with subsequent scans confirming Gregory suffered a ruptured ACL.
“Unfortunately, Tayla has suffered a ruptured ACL in her right knee. We will consult with specialists and Tayla in the coming days to devise the most suitable rehabilitation plan,” GC SUNS AFLW Physiotherapist Jasmine Herlihy said.
Gold Coast SUNS Head of Women’s Football Fiona Sessarago added, “It’s devastating news for Tayla, who has poured countless hours of hard work and dedication into stepping up into our Women’s program.
"Our priority now is supporting Tayla throughout her recovery.”
