SUNS forward Jy Farrar will consult specialists after suffering an ankle injury in the VFL.
Farrar was taken from the field during Saturday’s VFL defeat against Southport and was subsequently sent for scans.
“Jy, alongside our medical team, will now consult with specialists on the optimal course of action. We will have more clarity on a return to play timeline following those consultations,” GC SUNS Head Physiotherapist Andrew Weller said.
Jake Rogers has entered concussion protocols and will be unavailable for Gather Round.
“Jake reported symptoms post-match on Sunday evening and has entered concussion protocols,” Weller said.
Christian Petracca will be a test for Gather Round following a hamstring injury suffered in Round 2.
The SUNS will name its Gather Round team on Thursday evening.
