A young SUN will miss the second match of the Trip to the Northern Territory after sustaining a knee injury during the third quarter of the Round 9 clash v St Kilda.
Ethan Read has returned back to the Gold Coast for scans and subsequent assessment of his knee with a timeline on his return to play expected in the coming days.
Meanwhile, Matt Rowell is aiming to train fully this week, whilst in Darwin, in an effort to make himself available selection for the Round 10 match against Port Adelaide.
Ben Long will be a Test for the game after suffering an ankle injury during the second term.
