There are updates on several SUNS in this week’s Qscan Injury Update.

Ethan Read will be a test to return to action this weekend after being sidelined since Round 9 with a knee injury.

“Ethan returned to full skills training this week and we’ll make a call on his availability closer to this weekend,” GC SUNS Head Physiotherapist Andrew Weller said.

Jake Rogers (hamstring) and Avery Thomas (knee) will both be sidelined in the medium-term following injuries sustained in the weekend’s VFL match against Geelong.

“Jake has unfortunately aggravated his hamstring while Avery has some bone bruising around his knee. They’ll both be unavailable for selection for a few weeks,” Weller said.

Wil Powell will remain unavailable in the short-term as he overcomes a shoulder injury suffered during the QClash.
