The Gold Coast SUNS will be without young defender Mia Salisbury for several weeks.

The StreetSmarts SUNS Academy product left the field in the opening minutes of Sunday’s victory over Essendon with a collarbone injury. 

“Mia fractured her clavicle on Sunday afternoon and will be unavailable for at least the next four weeks,” Gold Coast SUNS AFLW Physiotherapist Angela Flack said.

SUNS Skipper Lucy Single will be a test for this weekend's clash against St Kilda at People First Stadium.

“Lucy has been progressing well through concussion protocols. Her availability will be dependent on passing the final test this week.”
