In a significant win for Queensland footy fans, additional Gold Coast SUNS games have been scheduled on Seven’s primary channel throughout the 2019 AFL Toyota Premiership Season. 

The bump in broadcast coverage means SUNS fans throughout the state will be able to view nine games on Channel 7, with all remaining games on 7Mate. Every 2019 Premiership match will also be broadcast live on Fox Footy.

SUNS Chief Executive Mark Evans told Courier Mail he saw great potential in the broadcast increase.

“I think it is a brilliant step forward in terms of audience and audience potential,’’ he said.

“There are more people who reside on the main channel and more people flick past it, so it is great for Queensland footy.’’
