Essendon have made at least two changes to the team to take on the SUNS this Sunday at Metricon Stadium.

Captain Dyson Heppell has been ruled out with foot soreness after battling through last week’s game against Adelaide.

Rebounding defender Conor McKenna will also miss the match as he travels home to Ireland to attend his brother’s wedding.

The Bombers have not yet revealed who will take their place in the team, with six in the mix to earn a recall

Ruckman Zac Clarke is again available after missing last week with illness, while young forward and close friend to Corey Ellis, Jayden Laverde is also a possibility to return after overcoming back soreness.

The remaining four potential inclusions are David Myers, Mark Baguley, Ben McNiece and Josh Begley.

The final team will be confirmed at 5pm today.

The match gets underway at 4:40pm on Sunday at Metricon Stadium, with the SUNS NEAFL team playing a curtain raiser against the GWS Giants at 12:00pm.
