Gold Coast running midfielder, Aaron Hall was the only SUNS player to top the 100 mark following Saturday night’s round 19 loss to Richmond.
Hall put together a quality four quarter performance to finish with 40 possessions, and a whopping 152 Fantasy points.
Not only was he the highest scoring SUN for the round, but also recorded the second highest score out of the whole competition.
This is Hall’s first score over 100 since round 11 as a result of having missed some footy in the past two months through injuries.
Fantasy coaches will be hopeful he can re-gain some of the form he displayed in the first half of 2017 where he scored over 100 in seven of his first ten games.
He is now averaging an impressive 102 points a game and is a great Captain or even Vice-Captain option for situations such as those on the weekend where Gary Ablett was a late withdrawal.
Pearce Hanley put together one of his better games in a Gold Coast jumper with 31 possessions to total 96 points.
Following a somewhat interrupted season, Hanley is relatively cheap at $377,000 and with a breakeven of just 53 points, look for that value to increase going into the end of the season.
He is also owned by just 0.67% of coaches and could be a point of difference option for those coaches entering the Fantasy Finals as he also has the added benefit of dual position status meaning he can be selected in either the midfield or defence.
Plenty of flexibility for your Fantasy side with the running Irishman, Pearce Hanley and another dual position player in Jack Martin.
Martin has put together a solid Fantasy season with another 87 points, taking his average over the last five games to 100.8.
His value increased another $12,000 this week and he has had an encouraging second half of the season for Fantasy coaches to think about for the years ahead.
Tom Lynch (88), Jesse Lonergan (85) and Brayden Fiorini (84) were the other SUNS who put together decent scores on Saturday night.
