Gold Coast SUNS NAB AFL Rising Star nominee Josh Caddy returned to his junior football club, Eltham on Friday.
Caddy presented the Eltham Junior Football Club with a NAB Club Recognition Award which the club received following Josh’s Round 16 NAB AFL Rising Star nomination.
The Recognition Award is a package of practical and financial resources designed to assist the junior football club in developing future champions.
The pack includes Sherrin carry bags, Sherrin footballs, drink bottles, an air compressor, an AFL skills book and a coach’s board, a club recognition vinyl banner and a St John’s Defibrillator and associated training.
Caddy said he was happy to return to his grassroots to present the award.
It's always great to comeback to where it all began and just give a little back.
"Junior clubs across the country do so many good things for kids starting their footy journey and I am pleased that it has recognised today," Caddy said.
