Kalinda Howarth and Jade Pregelj have made it back-to-back appearances in the AFLW Team of the Week after being named in the team after the Round 6 win over West Coast.

The pair were both named in Round 5 and continued their outstanding to form to earn selection again this week.

Howarth was electrifying in the forward line for the SUNS, finishing with four goals, 11 disposals and three tackles.

Pregelj was again a rock in defence for the SUNS, recording 13 disposals and two tackles.

Both Howarth and Pregelj have now been named in the Team of the Week on three occasions.

The Team of the Week is selected to mirror the All Australian side: five defenders, six midfielders (including a ruck), five forwards and five interchange players.

Like the All Australian team, it has players selected in general categories, rather than in traditional positions.
