Gold Coast SUNS skipper Gary Ablett looks set to be named for Saturday nights QClash 2 against the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba.
Ablett moved well during the first half of the GC SUNS training session on the Metricon Stadium training field on Wednesday morning.
During the second half of the session Ablett joined teammates Alik Magin and Jacob Gillbee and completed a sprints and running program inside the main stadium.
Several on-lookers believed Ablett was certain to be included in the GC SUNS team to play the Lions.
The GC SUNS full team announcement will be available at goldcoastfc.com.au 5pm on Thursday.
