The Gold Coast SUNS today launched its 2012 Membership campaign, TOGETHER, WE GO ON.
The club enjoyed tremendous community support during their inaugural AFL Premiership season and the “TOGETHER WE GO ON” campaign pays particular focus to the Clubs emerging stars.
General Manager – Marketing & Community, Kelly Ryan said Gold Coast SUNS fans had built a great foundation of support for the team in the club’s inaugural season.
“We’ve really started something. In 2011, a brand new team came together, with rising talent, proven stars and most importantly, the team was embraced by our members and fans, the die hard and those new to the code,” Ryan said.
“Our first AFL season marked the beginning of an exciting journey for the AFL’s newest team with Guy McKenna’s charges delighting their supporters with a number of spectacular victories during a season focussed on personal and team development.”
The GC SUNS have worked tirelessly to give back to the Gold Coast community and we will continue with our investment in 2012 as the club continues to grow and increase its supporter base.
“Members are the lifeblood of our club and with your support in 2012, we can go forward confident our young stars are equipped to face the rigours of the countries most demanding code, the challenges faced each week and to create everlasting memories for you,” Ryan added.
“We look to what promises to be an exciting new chapter in the clubs history and importantly, we’ll go on. TOGETHER.”
