A lightning-quick small forward, Jacob Heron had to work hard through the NEAFL team to secure his senior recall in 2019. Off the back of some consistent performances in the NEAFL, averaging 17 disposals and 4 marks per game, Heron played a total of 5 senior games to close out the season. The SUNS Academy graduate has plenty of weapons at his disposal and thrives on providing defensive pressure, speed and a strong goal sense. With the SUNS midfield adding more depth in the off season with the likes of Brandon Ellis, Hugh Greenwood, Matt Rowell and Noah Anderson, Heron will need to work hard to break into the SUNS midfield brigade.
