In his first year as co-captain, David Swallow had an outstanding season to finish runner-up in the Club Champion. For the second time in his career, the 26-year-old managed to play every match of the season where he averaged 23 disposals, four marks and four tackles per game.
Swallow has embodied the club’s values this year and continues to be one of the most inspirational figures at the club. His reputation amongst his peers saw him take out the club’s Players’ Player award at the Club Champion and also nominated for the AFLPA MVP and Most Courageous awards.
